Your Welcome Home Session
This session, also known as a Homeowner Orientation and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) isn’t just a walkthrough or inspection—it’s about celebrating your home ownership milestone, and an opportunity for us to introduce you to your new home, your community, and the lifestyle that comes with being part of Mistral Communities.
We are here to answer your questions and ensure that you feel at home even before you move in.
Your Welcome Home Session will take place two weeks to one month before your occupancy date. This one-to-two-hour appointment is designed to guide you through every aspect of your new home, so you feel comfortable and prepared.
We’ll carefully review your home, ensuring everything meets our quality standards and noting any areas that need attention before your move-in day.
We’ll walk you through how to operate and maintain your home’s systems, explain emergency procedures, and outline what’s covered under your warranty. We’ll also share tips for preventative maintenance to help you protect your investment.
Meet the teams who will support you daily, including Property Management, and tour the amenities that make your community special.
To ensure you get the most out of this important appointment, we ask that only the homeowner(s) attend the session. If you need any accommodations, please let us know when we contact you to schedule your appointment. Children under 16 cannot attend for safety reasons.
If you can’t attend your appointment, you can appoint someone you trust, such as a family member or friend (18 years or older), to attend on your behalf. If someone else is attending on your behalf, please fill in the Designation of Agent form provided by our team and return it to us ahead of the appointment.
Depending on the stage of construction, some areas of the community may still be under development. For safety, we may provide hard hats or steel-toe shoes during your visit. You’ll also be asked to sign a safety waiver.
